Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services of Royal Legacy Movers. By booking a move or using our website, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
1. Services
Royal Legacy Movers provides residential moving, commercial relocation, packing, and storage services across Ontario. All services are subject to availability and must be booked in advance. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
2. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes provided are estimates based on the information supplied at the time of booking. Final pricing may vary if the scope of the move changes — including additional items, access difficulties, or extra time required. Any changes will be communicated before work proceeds. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
3. Booking & Cancellation
A deposit may be required to confirm your booking. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Rescheduling requests are accommodated where possible and subject to crew availability. Royal Legacy Movers reserves the right to reschedule in the event of severe weather or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Liability & Damage
Royal Legacy Movers takes every precaution to protect your belongings. Basic damage protection is included with all moves. Liability is limited to the declared or assessed value of damaged items, subject to our claims process. We are not liable for damage to items that were improperly packed by the customer, pre-existing damage, or items of extraordinary value not declared prior to the move. Claims must be submitted in writing within 5 business days of the move date.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring all items to be moved are disclosed at the time of booking, that pathways and access points are clear on move day, and that any fragile, high-value, or specialty items are identified in advance. Customers must be present or have an authorized representative present at both the origin and destination addresses.
6. Prohibited Items
Royal Legacy Movers will not transport hazardous materials, flammable substances, illegal items, live animals, or perishable goods. We reserve the right to refuse transport of any item we deem unsafe or inappropriate. Customers are solely responsible for any prohibited items found during a move.
7. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, e-transfer, and major credit cards. Overdue balances may be subject to interest charges. For commercial clients, net-30 payment terms may be available upon approval.
8. Privacy
Any personal information collected during the booking process is used solely to facilitate your move and communicate with you about our services. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
10. Changes to These Terms
Royal Legacy Movers reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
